This month sees the South Pacific Scaffolding offices getting a much-needed facelift and expansion, as we extend our office area, making room for additional working spaces.

In doing so, we will run more efficiently, with Management, Accounts, and Operations in an open-plan space. This past fortnight saw the installation of timber framing, walls, ceiling, insulation, gib stopping, edge trim, and carpet.

Last port of call is painting and finishes.
We hope to have renovations completed in the next few weeks, to enable us to move in.

SOUTH PACIFIC SCAFFOLDING OFFICE RENOVATIONS

AUCKLAND WAR MEMORIAL MUSEUM

Our projects take us to some spectacular places, but none quite like the Auckland War Memorial Museum, with its views stretching across the Auckland Domain, Parnell, and Orakei.

With the first portion of the project encompassing a 17m x 4m Roof cover with encapsulation, a small crew was onsite to complete this.

As the Auckland War Memorial Museum is a Category 1 Historical building, we were unable to use wall ties on the exterior to secure the scaffold, so an alternative was required, utilizing three 1 tonne IBC’s (Intermediate Bulk Container), for stabilization.

Stay tuned for more updates on this project.
