Established in Auckland in 1993, South Pacific Scaffolding Ltd (SPSL) is a privately owned New Zealand scaffolding company, operating predominantly in the greater Auckland area for the last 18 years.

SPSL specialises in a wide range of commercial and residential projects, as well as marine repairs and maintenance.

Since establishment, the company has undertaken the maintenance work of all the Royal New Zealand Navy vessels as well as for a wide range of privately owned launches and yachts.

SPSL is recognised as an industry leader. It has a reputation for erecting top quality scaffolding systems and scaffolds.

SPSL was the first New Zealand company to use the German-engineered Layher scaffold systems, and can provide a wide range of specialist scaffolding components, including large-span Keder protective roof systems, access stairs, rubbish chutes, as well as standard scaffold systems.

SPSL can provide a quality shrink wrapping service, and supply Dr Shrink products and equipment through their New Zealand license.

SPSL has grown to become a leader in the scaffolding industry for its integrity and work standards. It specialises in scaffolds that are “outside the norm”, and thrives on completing each job to its clients’ expectations, time frames and budgets.

SPSL is proud to sponsor many of the childrens’ charities, and is a current member of SARNZ, SRITZ, Site Safe, and the New Zealand Chamber of Commerce.

All SPSL staff hold current Site Safe passports and regularly attend safety meetings.
